The Municipality of Amfiklia, with a population of about 6000 inhabitants, is located in Central Greece at the north eastern foot of mountain Parnassus, 165 km north of Athens. It is composed of 6 villages, Amfiklia being the capital of the Municipality.
 
Its interest for cooperation with other cities, besides city twinning, is the participation in common projects relating to the environment, development (urban and environmental, e.g. LIFE+ program), cultural (folklore, athletics, educational through the primary and secondary schools), technological and administrative applications in city management, agriculture planning, tourism development.
